Former crane track
|
Crane track (270 m.) from the former NDSM (Nederlandse Dok en Scheepsbouw Maatschappij) build in 1952 for the finishing work on the mammoth tankers. Around 1970 the marine industry got in decline. The track has been saved by the architect Trude Hooykaas who designed a "floating" office building on top of the track that has been build in 2006/2007. The building does have won a lot of prizes.
